We can now confirm we will be operating Segway tours in Rother valley country park commencing the 7th of April

What a great way to blow away the cobwebs by embarking on a thrilling Segway tour around Rother valley country park.
Tour details
Cost £ 40 now £ 32 untill the end of May.
This is a relaxing tour taking in the sites and enjoying the experience with a little off roading thrown in.
Suitable for all ages 13 and above. ( see further restrictions below )
Commencing from the activities centre ( coach turning circle after heavy rain )we embark on a tour around the lake and from there, a visit to the nature reserve.
The terrain is mainly flat and smoothe but some bumpy ground may be incorporated!
Tour duration including tuition approximately 1 hour.
All tours are dependant on at least 4 people taking part.
Single rider bookings can be taken but are not guaranteed to go ahead if we dont get the group of 4 required .
We can take up to 7 people on a tour.
A 10% discount will be given for bookings of more than 4 people. ( not applicable during a sale period )
Payment is by cash only on the day of the tour
Please be aware the Segway tour is also dependant on the weather and could be cancelled at short notice.

Segways are simple to ride as they balance themselves and are suitable for all ages and abilities.(Check below for restrictions)
After a short safety and instruction briefing, you will be taken on a Segway Tour around the Park.
Please be aware that we conduct a Segway tour, not a race. If you are looking for an adrenaline rush then a Segway tour may not be for you.
Tours are available weekends,bank holidays and weekday evenings from 6.30pm (April to September )
We can also arrange corporate Segway fun days at a suitable venue of your choice with the landowners permision.

Restrictions:
- The minimum weight is 7.5 stone and the maximum weight is 18 stone
- Minimum height is 4ft 6inches
- Pregnant women will not be permitted to ride
- Minimum age for Tours is 13 years
- consumption of alcohol will not be permitted prior to any tour.
- Helmets and hi vis jackets must be worn on all tours and will be provided .
- You may wear your own helmet if you prefer.
- Gloves are recommended to be worn on every tour but are not provided
- For extra safety knee and elbow protectors are recommended but not compulsory
- Tours will progress at the speed of the slowest rider

- Although the Segway is a perfectly safe means of transport with an excellent safety record,we must stress that all riders taking part will do so at there own risk and will be asked to sign the appropriate paperwork prior to the commencement of the tour.
